Qaqamba, a rising Afro jazz artist, was born in EC eNgcobo but
now resides in CPT eMfuleni. As a community activist,
songwriter, singer, and poet, she draws inspiration from social
injustices, using her music to raise awareness and promote
communal healing. Qaqamba has been a backup singer for
artists such as Mahalia Buchanan and has opened stages for big
artists like Zolani Mahola, showcasing her talent across diverse
genres including Gospel Music.
A Bridges for Music Academy graduate, she gained expertise in
music production, business, and mindfulness, releasing singles
like "Zizinja" and "Maqondana.
