About this Event

James MacCleary is the MP for Lewes and Liberal Democrat Spokesperson on Europe. He will be answering your questions on a wide range of issues. As this event takes place just five days before the inauguration of Donald Trump, there will be a particular emphasis on the UK's role in the world, and our relationship with Europe and the United States. Come along to ask your question and join the debate.

James MacCleary's appointment as Lib Dem Spokesperson on Europe is a culmination of a long-term interest in international affairs. He graduated from the University of Kent with a BA in politics and international relations, and from the University of Oxford with an MSc in Russian and East European studies. He has worked as a director and manager for charities and campaigning organisations, including as Campaign Director for the European Movement UK.

The doors to this event will open at 7pm with the event starting promptly at 7.30. The ticket price covers venue hire and other event related costs. Any further proceeds from this event will go to local Lewes refugee charity LOSRAS.
