Strides and Prairie Dog Brewing is excited to announce that three-time Olympian, Malindi Elmore, will be joining us in Calgary on Tuesday, January 21st on Stage at Prairie Dog Brewing. Join us at 5:30 PM for an evening filled with drinks, food, engaging conversations, and a Q&A session With Malindi. Malindi Elmore is a three time Olympian in athletics, having represented Canada in 2004 at the Athens Olympics in the 1500m and the 2021 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympics in the Marathon. Malindi finished 9th at the Tokyo Olympics which was the top finisher by a Canadian in a non-boycotted games in the marathon. Malindi finished the Berlin Marathon in September, 2023 with an incredible time of 2:23:30… at the age of 41! In her spare time, Malindi is a mom to two active young boys and the Cross-country coach at UBCO, in addition to coaching athletes achieve their own running goals.
The cost is $25 (+applicable fees & GST) per person, which includes a complimentary beverage (Alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages included). Presented by Strides Running Store. All proceeds will be donated to KidSport Calgary.
