We are pleased to invite parents and carers to a series of training sessions designed to enhance your understanding of digital platforms used at school, as well as to offer guidance on online safety and support tools for your child's education.
These sessions will cover key platforms, online safety, and revision resources, aiming to strengthen the connection between school and home.
1. School Digital Platforms Introduction Guide
Date: Tuesday, 19th November 2024
Time: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Overview: This session will introduce the key digital platforms used by the school, including Microsoft Teams, SENECA, and SPARX. These platforms are crucial for supporting your child's learning journey. Learn how to navigate these systems effectively to assist your child at home.
2. Connecting School to Home
Date: Tuesday, 25th March 2025
Time: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Overview:
Online Safety: Understand how to protect your child online with a focus on Internet Matters and best practices.
Digital Wings Workshops: Join the Digital Wings workshops (in partnership with Barclays) for insights on digital literacy.
Revision Platforms: Learn how to access and use digital revision platforms to help your child prepare for upcoming examinations.
3. Online Safety - My Child and The Internet
Date: Tuesday, 10th June 2025
Time: 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Overview: This workshop focuses on ensuring your child stays safe online. Topics will include managing online risks, setting up parental controls, and understanding how to support your child’s safe internet use.
