Come join us for our Q1 impact event! Get the word out and bring someone with you so we can grow and make our impact even bigger!
The GWG Event Process:
ATTEND:
All events are kept to one hour, max. Come with a positive attitude and a BLANK check for $100 or be ready to give online via our secure donation portal. Prepare to meet great new people and support the deserving local nonprofit we select.
NOMINATE (Optional):
Members are encouraged to submit a local organization (501c3 that serves Kalamazoo County required) that needs support. We'll draw three and if your nomination is pulled, you'll be given up to 5 minutes to casually present to the group why you selected them to receive our support. Only 3 charities are drawn to "present" at each meeting and no presentation materials are allowed.
VOTE:
Members will vote to select one of the presented organizations to receive the full donation for that quarter's effort.
GIVE:
We'll all write a $100 check directly to the chosen nonprofit or contribute $100 online via the GWG giving portal (so you'll have a tax receipt). Checks will be collected at the close of the meeting.
OBSERVE IMPACT:
When we come together as a group of inspired men for 60 minutes, we can make real, positive, and immediate impact in our community.
