Maryland Meadworks is going rainbow on the 2nd Saturday of the month with two new opportunities for queer and allied folx to connect starting on November 9th!
Q Club | 2-3:30p | meetup for queer, questioning, and allied youth
Cheers Queers | 3:30-5p | happy hour for queer and allied folx
Queer, questioning, and allied youth are invited to join Q Club, for a monthly meetup from 2-3:30p. Each meetup, we'll casually explore a topic related to gender, sexuality, and identity while getting to know each other and sharing snacks and an activity. There are no firm age restrictions, but this is a drop off group and most participants are 11-16 years old.
Registration through this quick form (https://forms.gle/f5AD6qwvzQeyqCyd6) is not required, but is very helpful!
Participation in the group is free.
Q Club and Cheers Queers are facilitated by Leandra Nichola (she/her). Leandra is new to Hyattsville, but a long-time queer and neurodiversity advocate and youth facilitator.
