Gavin Edwards is the HPC Technical Director, a member of the HPC Exec, also a member of HPC GenCo Board, is the Principal Designer and Senior Information Risk Owner (SIRO). Gavin joined EDF (BE) in 2007 after a decade working in a number of commercial, manufacturing and international roles. He has worked in diverse areas supporting the operating fleet such as Lifetime Extension, Fuel Route, Structural Integrity, Outages, Operational and Event Recovery Safety Case Management.
In 2015 Gavin was seconded to CGN and became Head of the Bradwell Generic Design Assessment project, developing the Joint Venture with CGN, spending time in France and China. In August 2018 he joined HPC in the role of Head of Design Authority working through subsequent roles and setting up the Nuclear Services Organisation, progressing to secure position as HPC Technical Director.
