Pâte à Choux: A Very Versatile Dough

For ages 13 & up

Invest a little time in learning to make this simple but incredibly versatile dough and your repertoire will expand exponentially. You'll be amazed when you realize that flour, butter, water or milk, and eggs can be transformed into everything from appetizers to desserts. In today's class, we'll focus on a main course (Parisien gnocchi) and two desserts: a baked puff filled with sweetened whipped cream or ice cream and garnished with chocolate; and crisp, light, and as-cute-as-can-be baked puffs filled with pastry cream and topped with a crisp cookie-like dough. You'll enjoy your gnocchi and profiteroles at the end of class and take a selection of choux au craquelin with you to share with family and friends.

For ages 13 & up. Attendees not yet 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket. Tickets are priced per person. Each attendee must purchase a ticket.

• Gnocchi à la Parisienne (Light Airy Gnocchi made with Herbed Pâte à Choux Dough)

• Profiteroles (Chou à la Crème - a Choux Puff filled with Sweetened Whipped Cream, Ice Cream, or Pudding & topped with Chocolate)

• Choux au Craquelin (a bite-sized Choux Puff topped with a Sweet, Textured Cookie Topping with Notes of Caramel)

Safety & Precautions

• At check-in, you will be asked to sign a waiver before entering the Cooking School.

• For that reason, we ask that all attendees arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the confirmed start time of the class.
