Take a free online course in a welcoming space! This learning circle meets in-person every Wednesday at Eglinton Square Library (Toronto, Canada) from 10:30-12:00 pm, October 9 to November 13, 2024.
Participants learn together in a lightly facilitated peer-supported environment. Participants are expected to attend all learning circle sessions and complete approximately 10 hours of independent course work per week.
Learners who complete the course will be able to:
- earn a digital badge
- download a certificate of completion
- receive a 20% discount for the PCEP certification exam

Why should you learn Python?
Python is a versatile programming language used by startups and enterprises such as Google, Facebook, Dropbox and IBM. This is also the language of choices for developers who work in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, networking and IoTs (Internet of Things). This course will help participants learn basic coding in Python, as well as general computer programming techniques and concepts.
Python Essentials 1 curriculum aligns with Python Institute's PCEP (Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer) certification.
