25th anniversary of throwing music festivals and honored!!!! Pyro 2021 is some of our most important work yet bringing the medicine music and healers and dreamers of our nomadic love tribe together!!! Family, this is such an honor to be part of as the world has adopted a very different landscape in the music festival community we are keeping true to the love that started it way back in the starry eyed 90’s except the music has caught up to represent our vision! The musical message today is so powerful and consciously activated that we are creating a better life for ourselves and at Pyro we are bringing a beautiful combination of musical friends together to weave their music through our gathering!!! Pyro really is a dream centered around art, workshops, nature, of course art fires including an effigy to be built and burned down under the full moon on Saturday night with drumming all night under that magical full moon. We are creating a sacred space together...
Feminine and Masculine areas will be created for ceremony and prayer space. A cancer tent is a first this year as a space for survivors, those in treatment, and A reflection space to share knowledge and help understand from one another some of the challenges and alternatives that have eased this cancer that is touching all of our lives one way or another. A women’s tent by Delissa to relax for soon to be mothers, new mothers, and women who are wanting the comfort of one another (thank you!) and several domes to create spaces for the workshops that will be returning and expanding at this years gathering.
This is an event that has been created by our collective festival community as we trudge through our day to day lives to bring the hope back into the world after sharing space with one another.
SpaceRangers will be all over the Fires and their epic G spot is going to welcome our late night adventures to their video wall and art fire.
OhioBurnUnit will be building the effigy and holding fire safety courses and helping with Pyro all through the event.
A few Speakers will take the main stage between sets to inspire us and put into account how far we have come as earth warriors and yet how far we still must go.
Recyclers are being brought in to reduce our footprint.
All materials are being printed on tree free paper.
I thank you for continuing to create the magic that we have started so long ago and it doesn’t matter at what time we have met one another, friends know one another in the first moment they meet one another greater than an acquaintance will know each other in an entire lifetime and we are friends! We are tribe!!! We are family!!! We are a fiery love tribe and warm one another’s hearts with our dreams and enthusiasm and Pyro being held under a full moon is welcoming us all home!!!!!
