P(x3) is kicking off our Thursday night residency this month, and we couldn’t be more excited! To celebrate, we’re bringing in our friend John Ferrara from Consider the Source for some epic musical explorations. Each month, we’ll be throwing down new sets, featuring electrifying jams, and collaborating with unique artists. This month, we’re also thrilled to have Mono Means One in the lineup for a powerful set of their own. Expect explosive energy, genre-bending grooves, and an unforgettable night of live music every third Thursday. Let’s make Throwdown Thursdays the spot to be!
Featuring two of Connecticut’s hardest working musicians, P(x3) was founded by drummer Rob Madore and keyboardist/saxophonist Isaac Young. The duo pushes the boundaries of modern dance music, funk, hip-hop, and more in a fully improvised setting. Both Madore and Young have a deep intrinsic connection on stage that sometimes represents a two-headed musical beast bringing a mind-bending live show that has left audiences slack-jawed and awestruck. Both musicians have carved a name for themselves in the regional and national music scene and are now taking their collaborative efforts to a new level. The pair also is known for their work with John Ferrara and Mono Means One. Their latest release, “Piano Percussion Planet” features guitarist Thomas Xavier Kenney of the band Doom Flamingo — an album that further showcases the diverse musical prowess of this dynamic outfit.
Px3’s Monthly Throwdown Thursday is an immersive experience in live jamtronica, taking place every third Thursday. Each month features renowned guest artists, unique themes, and unexpected elements—all in an improvisational setting that pushes boundaries. Join us for a night where music and spontaneity collide, delivering a truly unique performance every time.
