About this Event
We’re kicking off the new year with connection, learning, and community alongside members and guests of the Professional Women’s Network (PWN). Bring a friend. Everyone is welcome.
Our presenters, Becky Krapfl and Megan Wullner, work for The Chris & Suzy DeWolf Family Innovation Center for Aging & Dementia of Mercy and will be presenting on Dementia Friendly Linn County, an initiative dedicated to fostering and supporting dementia‑friendly communities throughout Linn County.
Their training will cover how to recognize common signs of dementia, communicate with compassion, and make simple, meaningful adjustments that help individuals living with dementia feel supported in everyday settings. Attendees will walk through real‑life scenarios, practical tools, and easy steps anyone can take to create a more inclusive community.
