As a personal favorite of ours, we've been meaning to invite Yu Su for quite a while. She's finally joining on Nov. 23rd showcasing her wide open musical world spanning from jazz and disco to slow-burning club tracks.
Also joining and doing the line-up justice are experienced selector Bogman and the chameleonic musical persona of London-based expat, David Lazăr.

Yu Su is a Kaifeng-born, Vancouver-based musician, DJ, sound artist, and occasional chef. She works alone, performs with a band, and loves to host intentional food and listening experiences. Her music draws from house, dub, psychedelic rock, “fourth world” experimental and the sounds of her native country to create downtempo oddities and electronic music that transcends time and space. This has also established her highly personalized style of storytelling as a DJ, constantly traveling through different genres without skipping a beat. She is interested in soundscape, deep listening practices, and ethno-musicology, had performed site-specific multi-channel installations, and has also recently started performing live with her band alongside Kikakagu Moyo and Parquet Courts.
She has previously released on Ninja Tune imprint Technicolor, Rvng Intl., People’s Potential Unlimited, Music From Memory, and her own China-based bié Records. Her sound practices have been supported by the Canada Arts Council and her 2021 debut Yellow River Blue was nominated for the Polaris Prize. She has co-produced music with John Carroll Kirby, Duval Timothy and is known for remix works for the likes of King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, Carmen Villain and many more.
