ecoRI News is dedicated to reporting on environmental and social justice issues in Rhode Island. Through our reporting, we create a more informed public and provide individuals with the information they need to be better stewards of their environment.
Founded in 2009 by a two journalists, ecoRI News reporters seek to bring global climate issues down to the local level, with the thought that people would be more likely to engage with climate coverage if it centered on challenges, opportunities, and solutions in their own communities.
