Discover the joy of cooking and connection!Puāwai – Kai is a free, 8-week healthy lifestyle and cooking course designed to inspire you to make positive changes in your health and wellbeing. Whether you’re managing diabetes, cardiovascular conditions, or simply want to learn new skills, this course is for you.
This event is proudly brought to you in collaboration with Moana Vā as part of their Moana Malie health and wellbeing programme.
What You’ll Experience:
Weeks 1-3: Learn about nutrition, lifestyle changes, and how sleep, stress, and activity impact your health. Enjoy shared kai prepared by our team.
Weeks 4-8: Hands-on cooking sessions where you’ll prepare and enjoy delicious meals with others.
Who Can Join?
Open to all! Spaces are limited, so register early to secure your spot. A commitment to the full 8 weeks is encouraged to make the most of the experience.

Under “How did you hear about our programme?” mention Moana Vā to be enrolled in the correct class. Please include any dietary requirements or factors that may affect your participation (e.g., mobility issues, social anxiety).
Important Info:
Parking: Street parking only. The community lounge is the first building on your right as you walk up the main driveway.
Consent forms will be provided for those comfortable with being photographed during sessions.
