About this Event
Putting Joy into Parenting through Mindfulness
Date: 29 May 2022 (Sun)
Time: 11.30am - 1pm (SGT)
Featuring: Angie Chew
Format: In-person*
Venue: National Library Building
When we were planning for kids, we had the perception of parenting as being joyful and full of bliss. As we journey on, challenges, frustrations and even anger surface from the stress of trying to help our kids achieve high academic performance, balancing family and work demands. We may find ourselves mentally exhausted and at a loss of how to parent our kids into independent young adults.
In this workshop, A/Prof Angie Chew will share on the brain science and the mind-body connection through the science research of the effectiveness of applying Mindfulness in parenting.
*Please note that participants will need to be fully vaccinated in order to attend in-person sessions.
