This circular 8 mile peaceful walk take us through the woodland and heathland of Puttenham Common. There are several large ponds and wetland areas that attract a wide variety of wildlife including great crested grebes and grey herons. We then head out towards Seal making are way for a steady climb to the summit of a well-known hill called Crooksbury Hill from which you have some of the best views in the county. Its well worth the hike up to the summit! On a clear day there are stunning views.Meet at 9:45 for a prompt 10:00am start. Pay leader cash on the day.
Walk will be at a moderate pace. Bring a packed lunch/snacks for our stops along the way.
