PUTNAM UNDERGROUND RAILROAD FORUM: Stories from across the Muskingum

The UGRR Forum has been focusing on events in Putnam but for this program we will look at activities on the Zanesville side of the Muskingum with stories about herb doctor, abolitionist and poet Joshua McCarter Simpson and the 1857 fugitive slave case that involved the Market Street Baptist Church. Admission is free and open to the public. Parking is available at the side of the church and on the street.
