Come join us at Senior Friendship Centers for an inspiring event featuring a remarkable woman who has dedicated her life to fighting for civil rights, and feminist social justice. Hear her stories as a community organizer in a predominantly Black community, pursing her Master's degree, raising her children alone. She moves to Boston and earns her PhD. After finding who believes to be her life partner, he succumbed to AIDS. She is now retired and continues to legislative advocacy for social change and justice.
