On December 12, 2011, the Crane family suffered an unimaginable loss when two of our family members were murdered together in the family home. Kyleigh was home sick from school that Monday, and her uncle Jeremy had offered to watch her since he had the day off. They were surprised when a visit from a family friend included an unknown intruder who would take the lives of Kyleigh and Jeremy Crane that day. Kyleigh was seven years old and Jeremy twenty-one. Two young lives stolen, countless others affected in multiple ways, an entire community changed forever.
While our family has suffered tremendously, we have been able to bring smiles to children and families who need it the most. Through our grief we have been able to establish the Kyleigh and Jeremy Crane Memorial Fund, Inc. We are an official 501c3 non-profit. Every year we aim to help keep the underprivileged youth of Indianapolis and the surrounding areas involved in extracurricular activities, special needs interventions, and educational programs. Both Kyleigh and Jeremy were involved in competitive sports, so we understand how hard it can be to keep up with the expenses of such activities. We also understand the importance of getting and staying involved with our communities and our children. At this time, the Kyleigh and Jeremy Crane Memorial Fund, Inc. invites you to join us in our efforts to continue serving our communities by donating any goods or services you may see fit to help us raise funds for our communities.
