What to ExpectJoin us on Saturday, March 8th for Purrs, Paws & Poker ~ a fun-filled poker run benefiting the animals at Carteret County Humane Society! Participants will visit different stops, collect cards, and meet adorable adoptable pets along the way. Whether you’re playing for fun, aiming for the best hand, or looking for a new best friend, this event is a fantastic way to support shelter pets while enjoying a friendly game of poker.
How It Works
• Registration: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM at Carolina Home & Garden (4778 Hwy 24, Newport, NC 28570).
• Receive your instructions for all the stops during registration.
• Visit designated locations to collect additional cards while meeting some of our adoptable pets.
• End the run with a full poker hand and a chance to win prizes.

• Kickstands Up: 11:00 AM
• Last Biker In: 1:00 PM
