Purple Thursday (Oct 20) is a day of recognition of domestic violence where people across the country wear purple to show their support of survivors. It’s also a day where we at Hope House encourage donations for our shelter from the items on our wish list. You’re invited to drop off the wish list items at Hope House (720 Ash Street in Baraboo) on Purple Thursday (October 20th)! Don’t forget to wear purple to show your support, PLUS also have Culver’s custard coupons to give out to donors on Oct 20 (while supplies last). Let's fill Hope House's shelves for the winter!
Not going to be near Hope House? You can drop off our Purple Thursday wish list items (see image in the event postings below) at these participating public libraries, anytime from now through October 20th:
• Sauk County: Prairie du Sac, Sauk City, also at McFarlanes’ in Sauk City and 99.7 MAX FM in Baraboo
• Columbia County: Portage, Lodi, Poynette, and Wisconsin Dells
• Juneau County: Mauston
• Marquette County: Montello
• Adams County: Adams
