Purple Poppy Day commemorates animals who have served or are serving in conflicts.Join us for a family-friendly service conducted by Navy Chaplain Jacqui Fuller and followed by short performances from the Devonport Ukelele Group and the RNZN Navy Pipes and Drums Band.
Kids can also enjoy a fun, free activity.
Pets are welcome but must be on a lead or in an appropriate animal carrier. Don't forget your sunblock and a hat, as we have minimal shade. Bringing a pet? Pick up your free purple ribbon for their collar at boutique stationers Fitzgerald Taylor, across the road from the ferry terminal – 2 Queens Parade, Devonport.
