Purple Pinkie Project 2025 – A Sweet Way to End Polio!Across Rotary District 6650 – Find a club near you to order!
Campaign ends on World Polio Day October 24
Join Rotary District 6650 and its 45+ Rotary, Interact, and Rotaract clubs across Northeast Ohio in celebrating World Polio Day with a delicious fundraiser that’s making a global difference!
💜 What’s a Purple Pinkie Donut?
They’re fresh, cream-filled Long John donuts topped with a dab of purple icing — symbolizing the mark placed on children’s fingers in developing countries after they receive the polio vaccine.
💰 How It Works:
For every $20 dozen sold, $9 goes directly to Rotary International’s END POLIO NOW campaign — and that donation is tripled thanks to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation match. That's the power of giving... with icing!
🌍 Why It Matters:
Since 1979, Rotary has helped immunize more than 3 billion children worldwide. Today, polio remains endemic in only two countries. With your help, we can eliminate it everywhere — for good.
🙌 How to Get Involved:
✔️ Order your donuts through your local Rotary Club
✔️ Host a Purple Pinkie sale at school or work
✔️ Can’t eat a dozen? Donate without the calories!
