About The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo parade float - Truly legendary - and is a feast for the eyes, 3000 horses used in the largest non mechanized parade held in the USA.
The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo last year awarded the float THE AMON.G CARTER JR AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE TO - MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART - (LAST YEARS' FLOAT FOR 2025)
Pre-Registration Information -
1. You Must Be a Purple Heart Recipient to register
2. If you are not a Purple Heart Recipient, we will NOT register you
3. Pre Registration to open soon - Every parade participant must complete a release authorization sheet - you will access these when you can register
4. Registration will be limited to Purple Heart Recipient and 1 guest
REGISTRATION LINK - will open 10/06/2025
5. There is will be no accommodation for additional tickets
6. Please do not sign up if you cannot attend.
7. Parade requires that you sign a release / waiver when you are online. No Waiver, you cannot ride on the float. Waiver for Military Order of the Purple Heart - Each participant MUST have the Release - EVERYONE YOU REGISTER MUST HAVE A WAIVER, PARENTS OF MINOR CHILDREN WILL COMPLETE THE WAIVER ONLINE FOR THEIR CHILDREN. This year no children under 8 years old may ride on the float.
