A group of librarians, postdoctoral associates, and graduate students will serve as guides to rare printed books, manuscripts, and beautiful Esther scrolls. All are welcome – whether you know a lot about Purim or don’t (yet) know anything at all. Feel free to bring along a friend or two.
The pop-up exhibit will take place in the largest classroom of the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. This room allows for up to 35 visitors at a time. To ensure that you do not have to wait, please sign up for a half-hour slot via the registration link. Please give yourself time to put your belongings in a locker.
This event is hosted by the Yale Program in Jewish Studies and co-sponsored by the Yale Chaplain's Office; the Slifka Center for Jewish Life; Chabad at Yale; JoY (Jews of Yale), the Yale Jewish Employee Resource Group; and Kehillah, the Jewish Graduate and Professional Student Association.
