The Farm at Prophetstown is the perfect setting to celebrate the art of homesteading and animal husbandry—just as things were done on a 1920s farm. Join us for Purdue Homesteaders Day as we partner with Purdue University to offer a variety of informative classes and hands-on experiences all about sustainable farming practices and rural life.

Classes on homesteading and animal husbandry led by Purdue & Farm experts.
Topics may include:
Beekeeping 🐝
Raising chickens 🐔
Growing heirloom apples 🍏
Blacksmith basics 🔨
Horse care 🐴
Raising beef cattle 🐄

-Food for sale from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, so you can enjoy delicious farm-fresh meals between classes
