This is a full fledged CRW canopy course. In this course you will gain an understanding of CRW basics, give and receive your first dock, with the goal to build up to your first 4 way CRW formation. Ground school will be held Friday night Feb 20th at the drop zone.
Pups will be starting Saturday with a hop n pop on a PD Lightning. From there pups will move to one on one coach jumps with outside video for extensive debriefing, and will progress to larger formations at their comfort on Sunday. Each pup is expected to make 4 jumps a day.
Pups will be expected to cover their slot for every jump, the registration fee covers video slots.
All canopies are provided by the camp hosts. Additional gear can be provided such as hook knives, helmets, weights and even rigs. Not all loaner rigs are equipped with AAD's so please contact us ahead of time to sort out your specific gear needs. Gear will be hooked up and sorted Friday in your ground school. Candidates should be comfortable flying a 1.3 wingloading.
This is a full weekend dedicated course with an expectation of making at least 3-4 coached jumps a day. If you are hoping to make any fun or work jumps in between course jumps, this may not be the course for you, we can figure out an alternate solution.
Candidates of this course should be looking to learn the exciting action packed discipline of Canopy Relative Work. There will be many opportunities at Perris and drop zones all over the country to travel and continue learning CRW.
