Bring your puppy to the Pow Wow! The Puppy Pow Wow, that is. Deer Creek Doggie's Puppy Pow Wow course is designed to help your puppy discover his or her world in a safe, positive manner. Resident Puppy Expert Jessica Kuehn is here to guide you and your puppy through the Start Right curriculum, from safe introductions and boundary setting, to potty training and learning about the leash, to facing scary new places like the vet's office or the park.
This five-week course features an orientation night (leave the puppies at home this night, please!), and four dog-and-owner group classes where together we will work on social skills, setting boundaries, understanding your puppy's communication, and more. Classes will be each Tuesday at 7pm here at Deer Creek Doggie Day Camp. The Pow Wow is open to puppies from 9 weeks to 16 weeks, and all puppies must show proof of vaccinations before coming to Deer Creek Doggie.
On the last day of class (our Puppy Pow Wow Party!), your puppy will receive a certificate of completion, a bag of goodies, and their graduation photo taken!
Puppy Pow Wow members can also take advantage of special Pow Wow half days at Deer Creek Doggie Day Camp! On Monday and Friday mornings and Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, we are setting aside a few hours specifically for Pow Wow skills reinforcement with our young pups. Counselor Jessica will be reinforcing each week's "homework," as well as ensuring your pup is getting appropriate exercise - meaning your puppy goes home at lunch time ready for a good long nap! Pow Wow mornings are from 7am to 12pm every Monday and Friday, and afternoons are from 1pm to 6pm every Tuesday and Thursday and are $20 per session.
