Are you hoping your puppy will grow up to be a happy, confident, social dog? Not sure of your puppies play style? Worried about mixing them in the big wide world with unknown dogs?

What the session involves...

Letting your puppy off the lead in a safe environment.

We will be on hand to show you how to appropriately socialise and avoid common pitfalls

These sessions are so valuable at this early stage in your pups development. Helping build confidence with positive interactions & exposure.

Understanding your dog's communication can help you identify what your dog needs before a situation may escalate, we'll be on hand to talk you through their body language, discussion of play styles, show you how and when you may need to get involved and regain some attention.

Some pups just come along once where others will benefit from multiple sessions. This will be discussed with you during the session.

If your pup has had their second vaccination and is under 16 weeks old* you can come along and watch the pups interact with each other. We will be on hand to talk you through their body language, show you how and when you may need to get involved and regain some attention

*If your puppy is older than 16 weeks and attending our Puppy Life Skills course send us a message as you may still be able to attend if we think it will benefit your pup.

Parking charges.

The country park charges for parking. If you are a local and plan regular visits the yearly pass may be a good option for you. Here are more details as they have recently updated their system and no longer take cash.

Where to go

We are located in the Toplands car park in River Hamble country park / Manor Farm. As you enter the country park you will drive through the wooded area and pass an activity centre on your left, keep going, up the hill and past the Barnfield car park park the next turning on your left will be Toplands. We are at the end of the car park past the public dog walking area.
