About this Event
Puppetry on the Path - Peter Rabbit
Six consecutive Wednesdays after school
3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
1st and 2nd grades
Fill your fall with the magic of theatre and nature through puppetry and creative play. Our bunny friends Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and the curious Peter Rabbit have daily adventures in Mr. McGregor's Garden, and you can too! Use your actor's toolbox of the body, voice, and imagination to create puppets using objects, plants, and creatures inspired by the garden, and bring them to life through creative drama. An in-person final presentation is held during the final class.
This class is taught by The Orlando REP and held outdoors at Harry P. Leu Gardens.
Taught by Sage Tokach, a graduate student in the Theatre for Young Audiences MFA program at UCF, as well as a teaching artist at the Orlando Repertory Theatre and at Florida State Parks.
