Come join us at Hance Community School on November 20, 2025, at 3:30 PM for a fun-filled event showcasing the magic of puppetry in the classroom!
Get ready to embark on an exciting journey where education, creativity, and laughter collide. This training is designed for TK-1st grade teachers.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate at least two puppet techniques (voice, movement, character building) that actively engage young learners.
- Design a short pupper-based activity or story that reinforces a key early learning concept (literacy, SEL, or problem-solving)
- Integrate puppetry into lesson planning to support multiple learning styles and developmental needs.
- Model strategies for student participation using puppets to build confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
- Identify at least three classroom benefits of puppetry, including language development, social-emotional growth, and student engagement.
*Note-This training will be offered 3 additional times at the following dates: September 25, October 4, and October 23. Please pick the date that best fits your schedule.
