September's highlighted non-profit is Friends of Chosewood Park. Friends of Chosewood Park advocates for and improves Chosewood Park, the 14 acre greenspace at the center of the Chosewood Park neighborhood. Members organize clean-ups, invasive species removal, plantings, and capital improvements. Their big goal is to eventually build a bridge to connect residents across the neighborhood.
