Join us on Sunday, October 19th, for a delightful evening at our 9th Annual Pumpkins in the Park event! The festivities will take place at Newnan High School's Practice Field, located off Armory Road in Historic Downtown Newnan, GA.Time: 4:00 PM - 6:30 PM
This family-friendly celebration features:
- Free pumpkins & decorating while supplies last (ages birth - 12th grade)
- Costume contest with prizes in FOUR categories:
Birth - Pre-K
K - 5th Grade
Middle - High School
Group Costumes
Each category will have prizes for 1st place in Most Creative and Most Realistic costumes!
- Fun inflatables for Pre-K and up to enjoy

- Food trucks offering a variety of snacks and meals for purchase
- Free ice cream from our Foundation Ice Cream Truck

Contest Categories:
Birth - Pre-K
K - 5th Grade
Middle-High School
Group Costumes
Prizes will be awarded in each age group for the following categories:
Most Realistic Costume
Most Creative Costume
Rules & Guidelines:
Eligibility:
All children from birth to 12th grade are welcome to participate.
Participants must attend the event in costume to be eligible for judging.
Judging Criteria:
Most Realistic Costume: Costumes should resemble a real character, person, animal, or object. Judging will focus on attention to detail, accuracy, and overall presentation.
Most Creative Costume: Costumes should showcase originality, imagination, and unique design. The use of unusual materials, clever ideas, and creativity will be key factors.
Costume Restrictions:
Costumes must be family-friendly—no inappropriate or scary costumes.
No dangerous props (e.g., weapons or sharp objects) are allowed.
Judging Times:
Birth - Pre-K will be judged at 5:00 PM at the main stage.
K - 5th Grade will be judged at 5:15 PM at the main stage.
Middle - High School will be judged at 5:30 PM at the main stage.
Group Costumes will be judged at 5:45 PM at the main stage.
Participants must be present at their designated time to be considered for a prize.
Prizes:
One winner per category (Most Realistic and Most Creative) will be chosen in each age group, and a runner-up.
1st place will receive a prize and be announced after judging.
Photographs:
By participating in the contest, you consent to having photographs taken for event promotions.
