About this Event
Join us for a fun and informative workshop all about pumpkins! Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just love the fall season, this event is perfect for anyone curious about the many uses of pumpkins. We'll explore the fascinating world of both edible and decorative pumpkin varieties, from classic Jack-o'-Lanterns to delicious pie pumpkins.
We'll start with a discussion covering different types of pumpkins, how they grow, and how to tell the difference between those perfect for carving and those best for cooking. After our discussion, it's time to get creative! You'll have the opportunity to arrange beautiful pressed flowers picked from the botanical gardens directly onto pumpkins.
This workshop is a great way to combine gardening knowledge with artistic expression and will get you into the festive fall spirit. All materials for the flower pressing activity will be provided.
Come learn, create, and celebrate the season with us!
