This is a class geared toward beginning horse enthusiasts. We use ponies for our instruction. This is a one day class that will focus on the age groups of 3-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds, and 9 and up. These sessions are dedicated to learning the basics of horsemanship. The children will get to ride, but most importantly, safety, grooming, and horse terminology will be introduced. A small snack will be provided. Parents are welcome to participate, especially with the younger group, but not required. A detailed schedule of the day will be sent out to the attendees prior to the event. There is a minimum number of participants needed to hold the class.
Class is held October 4 12pm-2pm. No rain date!
Registration closes October 1, or when full. Cost is $75 for the first child and $65 for each additional sibling.

12:15-1:30 Safety, Horsemanship and Riding
Snack and craft will occr while rotating riders.
1:30-2 Pick your own Pumpkins and Fire spinning

A little about our instructors... Ms. Lipovsky is the owner of Hogback Mountain Pony Rides. She has been around horses her whole life. She has a masters degree in education. Ms. Lipovsky is first aid and cpr certified.
