Don’t trash it, smash it! Join Sullivan County Soil & Water Conservation District and Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County from Saturday, November 1st through Sunday November 30th for our Pumpkin Smash event to keep pumpkins out of landfills and compost them instead. Smash your pumpkin so that it can be composted by Sullivan County Department of Solid Waste & Recycling and receive a spooky goodie bag! This event is open to all Sullivan County Residents, and we hope to see you there!Call Amber at 845-292-6552 to set up your smashing time!
BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkins) and we supply everything else!
Please do not bring tools, implements will be provided
Please remove candles and decorations
Drop-offs are also accepted (if you would like to compost your pumpkin but don’t want to smash it)
