At Austin Waldorf School, the Pumpkin Path is a beloved autumn tradition where magic and imagination come to life. The winding trail is lit by hundreds of glowing pumpkins—each one carefully carved by students—guiding families through a whimsical, lantern-lit journey. Along the path, students bring fairy tales and seasonal stories to life through enchanting scenes filled with fairies, woodland creatures, and gentle spirits. At each stop, children are gifted small handmade trinkets, adding wonder and delight to the experience. There will be food vendors, an artisan market, and face painting.
More than just an event, the Pumpkin Path is a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and community—reflecting the heart of Waldorf education: imaginative, meaningful, and deeply connected.
