The Unicoi County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Pumpkin Decorating Contest to celebrate Halloween! Everyone is invited to join in the fun and create the most imaginative pumpkin in town. The winners will be announced — and their pumpkins proudly displayed — during Halloween on Nolichucky on Saturday, November 1 in downtown Erwin.Pumpkins can be scary, silly, sweet, or even look like your favorite celebrity — anything goes! Whether you love to paint, carve, or decorate with glitter and glue, this is your chance to bring your pumpkin to life and compete for some fun prizes.
There are two divisions:
Adult Division: Ages 16 and up
Youth Division: Ages 15 and under
Each division will have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners:
🥇 1st Place – $100 gift certificate to a business of your choice in Erwin
🥈 2nd Place – $50 gift certificate to a business of your choice in Erwin
🥉 3rd Place – $25 gift certificate to a business of your choice in Erwin
The Chamber is excited to celebrate creativity and give back to local businesses by purchasing gift cards for prizes — a perfect way to support Erwin’s businesses as the holiday season approaches.
Pumpkins can be dropped off at the Chamber office between Tuesday, October 28 and Friday, October 31 by 12:00 PM (noon).
