PUMPed to Run is so excited to host our 5k again in 2025! This is the program’s primary fundraiser, and help us to serve the homeless population of our region by providing shoes, clothing, support and mentorship to our shelter participants.
When: Sunday, August 17, 2025. Race begins at 8:00 am, participants may begin arriving at 7:30 to check-in. The event is rain or shine!
Where: Millvale Riverfront Park Pavilion. There will be clean bathrooms available for race participants.
What: The race will be an out-and-back on the Riverfront Trail. We will provide water, bananas and light snacks for after the race.
Beneficiary: All proceeds will go to our PUMPed to Run program to support homeless walkers and runners at local area shelters to overcome the barriers to athletic participation.
Price: Cost to participate is $25 if you register online in advance or $35 if you register the day of the race. All PUMPed to Run mentors and volunteers will be given a code to use to register with a discount. Early registration will receive a discount until July 1, 2025.
Who: Any and all are welcome to participate! Walkers, Runners, strollers, children, and leashed dogs are welcome to participate with us!
What is included: Race timing and facilitation, water, bananas, light snacks, and use of Millvale’s private shelter with bathrooms. Instead of giving medals to the fastest folks we have decided to award a few random prizes; all finishers are eligible to win! All proceeds will go directly back to our participants and the program.
