Pulse is a workshop designed to help you get out of your own way and let the pulse of creativity move through you. It is far too often we keep ourselves bound to the limitations of our own minds and deny our hearts and voices access to the depths of true creative expression.

Pulse is broken into 3 segments that are most effective if taken in unison, but can be taken individually. The first half of each workshop will focus on the theme and the second half will be for writing/creation, followed by a portion of time where participants may share and receive feedback. May 8th, Embodiment: Creation is an embodied practice, we cannot create anything wholistic if we are trapped in our minds. This first workshop will place emphasis on experiences that help us drop into the limitless resources available to us in our bodies, and begin (or continue) to create from this bountiful, effortless place.

May 22nd, Flow: Existing in each of us is a unique creative rhythm that can only be discovered and can never be replicated. This workshop focuses on helping each individual to find and refine their own unique creative process.

June 5th, Voice: The power of the voice is so significant as it is where the inner world meets the outer world, where the depths of our inner self becomes reality. In this workshop we will focus on the cultivation and refinement of our voice, and how it is expressed in the way we perform.

Writing and performance Led by: Nile Abasi.
Nile is a writer, musician, community leader and group facilitator who specializes in creating experiences that facilitate the reclamation of our true nature as human beings. He is the founder of Man Unleashed, and a number of other programs that combine music, primal and emotional expression, and group ritual to help reclaim the forgotten aspects of the psyche. He is passionate about the reintegration of indigenous wisdoms that have been forgotten in the modern world, and the revival of true, grounded culture in the West.
