Letting ourselves be seduced by the beat and swept up in the Rhythms wave, we discover new territories to inhabit, we break old patterns and come home to the part of us that’s always been there.
In 5Rhythms dance, the body becomes your spiritual path and source of healing. Drawing from Gestalt therapy, eastern philosophy, and transpersonal psychology in 5Rhythms you explore your emotions, ego, relationship to self, others and the world through movement.
We are so blessed to have certified 5Rhythms facilitator Julie Stuart coming into town from Atlanta to lead us in a Friday evening dance and Saturday full day workshop.
You can come to either or both Friday or/and Saturday. Friday's dance will be a great way to experience the power of 5Rhythms. Saturday's workshop will go deeper, containing exercises, instruction and dancing.
5Rhythms can be experienced by anyone. No prior dance, 5Rhythms experience or minimum physical fitness is necessary. There are no specific moves to learn and dancers can participate at their own pace, within their own capacity to move.
