About this Event
Join Jessica Fong on Wed., June 16, from 10 am - 12 pm for a morning of colorful fun!
Jessica will take participants through some of the basics of papermaking and introduce them to the beautiful world of pulp painting. Pulp painting is a process that uses pigmented paper pulp as a painting medium. The pigmented pulp is applied, freely or through a stencil, onto a freshly formed sheet of handmade paper.
Participants will learn a variety of ways to work with pulp as paint: freehand, with stencils, and with a pulp transfer technique.
Enrollment for the class will end 1 day before the class is scheduled to start. Must have a min of 4 participants or the class will be canceled. Max number of participants is 6.
Scholarships are available for Low-Income Participants. Please email us at [email protected] for more information!
