Community and friendship mean so much in a small town. We are reaching out to you today because a family in our community needs our help.Josh and Kayla Groh Bardon grew up in Elkhart Lake and have made their home here along with their two children, Parker and Amaya. Both Josh and Kayla work for the Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah School District. Additionally, Josh was the varsity football coach for the last 20 years and Kayla coaches youth basketball. Together, they have given time and efforts to support others in the community. Now they need our help.
Their 16-year-old son, Parker, was diagnosed with a movement disorder at age 3. In the last year, Parker's health has declined. He is facing significant medical challenges including extreme pain, immobility, and constant spasms. Parker has been in ICU for over a month, and the cost of care is mounting. At this time, the family needs our community’s support, both emotionally and financially. In order to help, we are partnering with ELGAA to hold a medical benefit called “Pulling for Parker” on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Anchor Lanes.
Please consider sponsoring Parker’s family financially by reaching out to Angie Roth at 920-979-5632, dropping a donation off at the ELG Elementary/Middle School Office, or mailing a donation to ELGAA (P.O. Box 543, Elkhart Lake, WI 53020). Please make checks payable to ELGAA- Bardon Benefit. You can also support the family by joining us for some of the events planned on November 9th!
