Pull Up & Polish is a hands-on nail art workshop series led by artist and creative entrepreneur Jordie C, founder of . ✨
As part of my residency at Sip & Sonder, I am bringing my signature DIY nail art experience—The Polish Party—into a new space that honors our need for both creativity and community care.
Each month, you’ll learn a new nail art technique and design your own set of custom press-on nails. Whether you’re brand new or already polishing at home, you'll leave with new skills, a ready-to-wear nail set, and the confidence to keep creating.
This 3-month residency features one workshop per month, each focused on a different technique:
- Tuesday, October 7 – Dot Art
- Tuesday, November 4 – Cat Eye Gel
- Tuesday, December 2 – Chrome Effect
Workshops take place from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM in The Lab at Sip & Sonder’s Inglewood location.
Whether you come solo or bring a friend, you’ll be welcomed warmly into a space.
What’s Included:
- A guided nail art demo
- Custom press-on nails (choose from many shapes and lengths)
- Your own press-on nail station (UV lamp + tools)
- Curated vibes, good music, and a cozy, affirming space
About the Artist:
Jordie C (she/they) is a nail artist, textile designer, and the founder of Clacque Closet—a Black, Latinx, nonbinary-led creative beauty brand centered around DIY nail art, community workshops, and handmade press-on sets. Follow my journey on Instagram @clacquecloset.
