About this Event
Our July volunteer stewardship work party will take place at Circle Creek Habitat Reserve, just south of Seaside.
We will be removing policeman's helmet (also known as jewelweed or Himalayan balsam), a non-native invasive plant species that thrives in moist areas and riparian zones, threatening native plants.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20.
Bring lunch, water, boots, gloves, sunscreen, etc. We will provide necessary tools, or you can bring your own.
Circle Creek Conservation Center is at the end of Rippet Road. Look for it on the west side of U.S. Highway 101, 0.7 mile north of the junction with U.S. 26.
All are welcome to join, but registration is required!
