Beloved host of the cooking class series La Cocina de Loisaida and local Chef Maria Bido will demonstrate how to make Puerto Rican Alcapurrias & Bacalaitos from scratch. You'll learn step-by-step how to make traditional masa with guineos, yautía and green plaintains, plus a rich and delicious ground beef filling for the alcapurrias as well as a mouth water batter for the bacalaitos.

You'll receive recipes and instructions for how to make these delicious treats for your family and of course we will eat everything we made!
