Join us for the annual Public Works Open House on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hoffman Estates Public Works Center, 2305 Pembroke Ave.This free event includes snowplow rides, touch-a-truck and more. Light refreshments and giveaways will be offered while supplies last.
Public Works will also smash and compost pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns at the event in an ongoing effort to promote sustainability in a fun and exciting way (please remove candles and other decorations).
