Metro invites riders, community members, and stakeholders to attend an upcoming Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC) General Meeting. PSAC serves as an advisory body to Metro, providing guidance and community-informed perspectives on public safety policies, programs, and initiatives across the transit system.

PSAC General Meetings are held on a recurring schedule, typically on the first Thursday of each month. When a holiday conflicts with the regular schedule, meetings are moved to the following week. This meeting is part of Metro’s ongoing commitment to transparency, public participation, and community-centered decision-making.
During the meeting, PSAC members and Metro staff will share updates on public safety initiatives, pilot programs, and related efforts. The agenda will include time for committee discussion and public comment, allowing participants to share experiences, concerns, and recommendations related to safety on the Metro system.
Members of the public are encouraged to review the agenda and meeting materials in advance, which will be posted online prior to the meeting. Public comment may be provided during the meeting in accordance with posted procedures.
Interpretation services, including Spanish, and ADA accessibility accommodations will be provided in accordance with Metro policy. Requests for accommodations or language services should be submitted at least 72 hours in advance using the contact information listed in the meeting notice.
