"8 Rooms" is an exhibition of eight dioramas that were created for an animated film by Anita Lebeau. Scenes might look familiar to those who joined us for WestmAnimation 2022, where this short animation was previewed. Eight artists created the dreamscapes that Sara and her cat Sunny explore in pursuit of a vagrant pushpin, which will be on display for in-person viewing.

"Ancestral Aviators" looks from the ancient sky at an extinct sea and the shale that remains. Kevin Conlin’s decades-long art practice has been enduringly interested in paleontology, fascinated by the traces of lives ended millions of years ago, worked on by forces of nature until life if replaced with stone, just as he works clay into ceramic. In this exhibition of new work, traces of human life share space with the traces of lives long gone; their porous bodies are made impermeable, their forms reinvigorated into something immortal.

"I couldn't have done it without you" is a collaborative effort of the Free Flow Artist Collective, a group of AGSM Artist Members who have been meeting since 2023. They are motivated by a simple proposition: sharing your art makes it better. This survey exhibition showcases nearly 100 works of art by 14 artists, and includes an interactive piece that will culminate in a performance.
